The most vulnerable part of the earth is its atmosphere, which is a thin layer of gases that surrounds us. the atmosphere is made up of oxygen, nitrogen, inert gases like argon, neon and the greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide (CO 2 ), methane and nitrous oxide (N 2 O). of these CO 2   is a major culprit. levels of these greenhouse gases in atmosphere increase when we burn oil, coal and natural gas, produce cement or release chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs). into the air. cutting down trees also contributes to a rise in CO 2   levels increased emissions of greenhouse gases is trapping excess amount of heat from the sun, thereby warming the earth more than needed. this  global warming.   the universe the universe is a huge wide open space that holds everything from the smallest particle to biggest galaxy. the galaxy Galaxy contains stars, gas and dust which are held together as a group by gravity. galaxies are named according to their shapes of spiral and elliptical. the galaxy we live in the milky way, is a spiral galaxy the milky way galaxy  the milky way galaxy is over 100,000 light years wide. it is called by spiral galaxy because it has long arms which spin around like a giant pin wheel. our sun is a star in one of the arms. nebula nebula is a gigantic cloud of dust and gas, mainly of  hydrogen and helium gases. our sun originated from a nebula some 4600 million years ago.

ASIA Asia is the world's largest continent. its huge range of physical features include in southwest Asia the Arabian peninsula, in southern Asia the Indian subcontinent, in southeast Asia the vast Indonesian archipelago, in central Asia the plateau of Tibet and the Gobi desert and in east Asia the volcanic islands of  japan and the Kamchatka peninsula. North to south, the continent extends over 76 degrees of latitude from the arctic ocean in the north to the southern tip of Indonesia in south. the Ural mountains and the Caucasus in the west from the Boundary with Europe. Asia's most impressive mountain range is the Himalaya which contains the world's highest peaks. the Continent is drained by some of the world's longest river and the Caspian sea is the world's largest lake or inland sea.

  1:known popularly as the fastest land animal in the world, a cheetah can run up to 110 km in an hour. this big cat can reach its highest speed in just 3 seconds! can you think of any creature or thing, which can do that? 2: how often dose a cheetah need to quench its thirst? this record-breaker can survive for three to four days without a drink. 3:cheetahs are carnivores, and hunt mostly during the day to avoid competition from other wild predators such as lions, hyenas, and leopards. they feast on creatures such as wildebeest calves, rabbits, warthogs, springboks, gazelles, and birds. 4: cheetahs are found mostly in the savannahs and natural reserves of sub-saharan africa, the cheetah's body is literally built for speed. even its long tail is shaped in such a way to function like a boat's  rudder.
